A passionate journalist and also entrepreneur, Sudhir has been working hard to create multiple sources of income for himself.

Sudhir Kumar Rai is a journalist. He is also an entrepreneur and owns a gym called ‘Lookers’.

Sudhir belongs to the Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh but is settled in Varanasi. He is from a landlord's family. He did his schooling in the Chandauli district itself. But he did L.L.B and Ph.D. from Varanasi because his father's job was in Varanasi.

Talking about the journey in his life, Sudhir says that he joined the 'Aaj' newspaper in 2009 and continued there for five years. Then he joined Amar Ujala. Currently, he is working in the ‘Rashtriya Sahara’ newspaper.

However, being dissatisfied with his income,  Sudhir always felt that he should do a side business. So he started his own gym in 2013.  He also did partnerships with some businessmen and invested money in different businesses.

When asked about role models in his life, Sudhir says that whoever rises up from the bottom and becomes a success is his role model. He also desires to rise up in the same way and achieve new heights in his life.

Sudhir faced many struggles when his wife was pregnant with twin babies. It was very difficult for him to manage her medical needs financially.

Sharing about his Covid experience, Sudhir says that he faced many problems during the pandemic. As a journalist, he had to venture out and report the news, despite the risk of infection. He even had to carry the dead bodies of the Corona patients. He says he had no leave from his job. So he stayed away from his family to avoid the spread of infection.

In his free time, Sudhir likes to exercise and play sports.

To everyone, Sudhir advises spending at least one hour exercising to keep themselves fit.

To the youngsters, Sudhir advises them that they should never stick to one service or business. They should have multiple businesses so that they would never face any financial problems in their lives. He says that everything is possible if they keep a good aim in their lives.
