Sudhir Mutha has been working as a Company Secretary for the past 12 years in G R Infra Projects Limited, Udaipur.

Born in Jodhpur, he has nine degrees to his name. After 12th, he completed his B.Com (Honors), M.com., LLB, and also opted for doing C.A. and then C.S. He did MBA from Sikkim Manipal University and Ph.D. from Vidyapeeth University.

He initially worked in Sigma Minerals Ltd., Jodhpur for a brief period and then got placed in Centurion Bank of Punjab. After that, he shifted to Udaipur and joined the HRH Group of Hotels as a Company Secretary and then moved on to G R Infra Projects Limited.

Talking about his struggles, Sudhir points out that being from the Hindi medium was the greatest difficulty for him. He says people often look down upon students from the Hindi medium and have a preset notion about them. He started working hard on this by reading English newspapers on the advice of his uncle, using a dictionary while studying, and putting in the extra effort. He succeeded in his efforts and completed his studies in English without difficulty.

When asked about his role models, Sudhir says he considers his father as his role model. He says that his father faced many ups and downs in his life but never lost hope. He always advised him to keep moving forward after every failure. Never stopping working and putting in dedicated efforts is what his father preached to him. He also considers Arvind Singh Mewar of the HRH group and Vinod Kumar Agarwal of G R Infra as his motivators.

Regarding his achievements, Sudhir says that his biggest achievement in life is getting everything he aimed for. Self-satisfaction is the ultimate goal according to him. His degrees and experience gained while working in different companies taught him many things. Sudhir emphasizes that professional satisfaction is what one should target in their life.

Sharing his COVID experience, Sudhir says the pandemic also affected his life when his wife tested positive. Many things changed during this period. He says that COVID taught us many things: to value life, to value our family, and to value time. It also provided us with an opportunity to introspect and slow down.

His advice to the young generation is to put in their best efforts and undertake vision-oriented work with 100% dedication to achieve goals. A half-hearted effort will take you nowhere. He says that we should dream with open eyes and then work hard to achieve those dreams.

Sudhir’s success mantra is simple: Slow and steady wins the race.
