Subhash Bohra is an Assistant Registrar at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur. He also currently holds the position of General Secretary at Mewar Nandwana Vikas Sansthan.
Subhash started his career as a technician. Thereafter, he was promoted to Senior Technician. He got transferred to the institute’s Dabok campus, where he worked as an assistant registrar for some time, and is currently working in the Management Department of the college.
Born in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, Subhash had a difficult childhood due to the early demise of his father. He grew up under the care of his mother and uncle. Thereafter, he spent his childhood with his grandparents. After completing his eighth standard, he relocated to Rajasthan and continued his studies there. He used to learn work from his maternal uncle, who was employed in Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth.
Talking about his role models, Subhash states that Shyam Sundar Nandwana, a social activist, has been his inspiration, and following his path, he too has been working for society. He presently holds the position of General Secretary at Mewar Nandwana Vikas Sansthan and organises community marriages along with his team and actively promotes involvement in community welfare initiatives.
Reflecting on his personal challenges, Subhash shares that he had to shoulder the responsibility for the education and marriages of his five sisters after his father's untimely demise which was challenging for him.
Highlighting his accomplishments, Subhash proudly mentions being recognized and awarded by various organisations and trusts for his outstanding contributions as a social activist.
Drawing a parallel between education and experience, Subhash emphasises their complementary nature, asserting that both are integral and incomplete without the other. He firmly believes that possessing quality education and implementing it in society are essential for being a responsible citizen.
In a heartfelt message to the youth, Subhash earnestly encourages them to harness their knowledge and skills for the development of our nation, rather than opting to pursue opportunities abroad.
