Working as a General secretary of an NGO, Subham  aims to bring a change in society and keep helping the needy people.

Subham Gupta is the General Secretary of an NGO named Team Zindagi. He started his journey with a plantation event and currently, he with his team is running a child education camp for the needy.

Subham says that they also work with Ecobricks and also organize medical camps. He is doing BA in English Honors from Parimal Mitra Smriti Mahavidyalaya.

Sharing about his journey, Subham says that he is a founding member of Team Zindagi and has been working with the NGO since the very first day it was established. As the General Secretary in the NGO, he looks after all the work before and after any event they organize.

Subham says that it was very tough for him to convince his relatives and close ones about his work. He says that people always used to question his work and the amount he can earn with his work. It is very tough to explain the good deeds he is trying to do for nature and society, says Subham.

Speaking about the challenges and hard times, Subham says that when they initially started there were very few members and their dreams were very big. However, gradually the team members increased, they started getting recognition and currently, Team Zindagi is at a good level.

When asked about his role models, Subham says that MS Dhoni is the biggest inspiration for him. He says that he keeps on adapting MS Dhoni’s thinking and moves forward in life. He says that he also dreams to crack civil service exams and Ajit Doval and S. Jaishankar inspire him to do good for society.

In his free time, Subham likes meeting and interacting with new people, doing good for nature, and spending time with the children of their education camp.  He also loves playing cricket.

Between education and experience, Subham thinks that experience is more valuable to him.

To the upcoming social workers, Subham says that if you want to do something for nature, mother earth, and society, you should definitely join the team. Also, he says that whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly and with dedication.

Recalling his childhood memories, Subham says that he was born and brought up in Malbazar. He completed his schooling at Ceaser School, Malbazar. He says that he has a lot of fun memories of his childhood, and it was fun.

If Subham was given a time machine, he would go back in time and form Team Zindagi much earlier.

Talking about his achievements, Subham says that getting appreciated by people for his good work is a real achievement for him. Further, he thinks that he has been able to bring improvement in his personality by interacting with new people every day, which is an accomplishment for him.

Sharing about his COVID time experiences, Subham says that he used to go out with his uncle to distribute food to needy people. And thereafter, they got inspired and established their NGO.

To the youngsters, Subham says to stop running after money and do good for needy people and nature. Doing this will give you peace and satisfaction.
