Due to always being inclined towards music, Sourav made his career in it and today he and his band has earned a good name in Udaipur.

Sourav Panwar is the Lead Vocalist of his band called ‘The Arth Band’ in Udaipur. Today it has been five years of him working in the field of music.

Sourav is an Udaipurite. He did his schooling from Alok School. He is a B.Com graduate. Then he took his education in music.

Recalling his childhood, Sourav says that he was a very notorious kid in childhood. He was fond of music from the beginning for always having an atmosphere of singing and chanting in his home. He used to sing at some family functions and in cultural activities of his school too.

Sourav says that he started his career with photography at the behest of one of his friends. While working in that field, he found members for his musical band. In the meantime, he also started giving auditions at a few places and moved ahead in his musical journey. Alongside, his band was also formed as ‘The Arth Band.’ In 2017, his band gave their first performance and got a lot of applause.

Talking about his struggles, Sourav says that initially, he faced many challenges in earning money through music. He says that in order to establish his name in this field, he did many performances for free. People also used to take him lightly considering him as a child. Gradually, his band started performing in several cafes and restaurants in Udaipur and made a name for themselves.

About his achievements, Sourav says that in 2018, Rajasthan Patrika had published a list of top-five musical bands of Udaipur and out of which, his band secured third position. That was the biggest achievement for him. Besides this, seeing the happiness on the faces of people after his show is  a big achievement for him.

In his spare time, Sourav enjoys hanging out with his friends, spending time with his family, listening to music and jamming with his band members.

If anyone wants to make a career in the field of music, Sourav advises them that your entire focus should be on music. Further he says that if you take music only as a hobby, then you will never be able to make your career in it.

Sourav gives a piece of advice to everyone that ups and downs are a part and parcel of life and there are always going to be defeats and victories. So it is better to learn from them and move forward in life than to sit in despair.
