A professor and Alumni Association President, Saurabh Dave champions the power of networking and knowledge sharing, mobilizing thousands of alumni to support student growth and institutional excellence.

Saurabh Dave is the President of the Medicaps Alumni Association at Medicaps University. Alongside this, he is also currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

In his leadership role, Saurabh Dave works closely with students, alumni, and the university administration to strengthen long-term institutional connections. His focus remains on motivating the alumni of the university to contribute actively toward mentoring, placements, research collaboration, and overall academic growth of the institution.

Saurabh Dave firmly believes that a university’s greatest strength lies in its alumni community. With nearly 32,000 alumni working across industries since the first graduating batch of 2001, he sees a powerful network of experience and expertise.

As an academician, he understands the gap that often exists between industry and education. According to Saurabh Dave, alumni play a crucial role in bridging this gap by sharing practical insights, guiding students, and aligning classroom learning with real-world expectations.

Hailing from the small town of Khandwa, Saurabh Dave began his academic journey with the Medicaps group in 2002. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in 2006.

He later pursued his M.Tech and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. His journey from being a student to becoming a Professor and Alumni Association President reflects his deep connection with his alma mater.

Computer Science and Engineering Professor Saurabh Dave says he draws inspiration from educators, researchers, and socially responsible individuals who contribute toward nation-building through collective effort. He is equally inspired by alumni who remain connected to their roots and give back to the institution selflessly.

As President of the Alumni Association, one of the biggest challenges he faced was bringing alumni from different generations onto a common platform. Engaging alumni across diverse batches, industries, and locations required consistent effort and coordination.

However, reconnecting alumni with their alma mater and seeing them actively contribute to mentoring, research, and placements stands as one of his most significant achievements.

Medicaps Alumni Association President Saurabh Dave advises young professionals to first listen, then connect, and finally collaborate. He believes networking built on trust and shared goals becomes the strongest foundation for success.

According to him, India’s growth depends on unity, responsibility, and knowledge sharing. When experienced professionals guide younger generations, institutions grow stronger and nation-building becomes a collective mission.
