Due to unfavorable circumstances, Soniya could not start her career any sooner, but in order to do something worthwhile, she stepped into the makeover industry with an aim to make her mark in this industry in future.

Soniya Kumawat has recently started working in the makeover industry. She is working at Prabhat Spa, Salon & Academy.

Soniya belongs to Udaipur. She did her schooling from Saraswati School. Then she did her B.A. and M.A. from MLSU. She says that although she wanted to become a teacher, due to domestic circumstances, she could not do much for it. However, she entered the makeover industry for always being interested in it.

Recalling her childhood, Soniya says that doing makeup and grooming used to fascinate her since childhood.

Talking about her role models, Soniya says she considers her mentors Shweta and Asha as her role models for motivating her to move ahead in this field.

Sharing her COVID experience, Soniya says that she spent most of the time with her family during the pandemic. On the other hand, she also expresses her sorrow and grief for the uprooting of families due to COVID and their troubles.

If Soniya had a time machine, she would like to go back in time and try to join the makeup industry as soon as possible so that she could succeed sooner.

According to Soniya, both education and experience are necessary to build any career because education acts as a foundation for experience. She adds that education brings values and morals to a person’s life that helps him build an overall personality.

In her spare time, Soniya likes to clean her house, focus on her child’s studies, and give time to her family.

Advising the youth, Soniya says that you should set foot in any field only after completing your education to get the results of your hard work. Also, she advises people who are suffering from financial constraints to enter into the makeup or tailoring industry at a young age to gain experience and move ahead to make a career in it.
