Sonika is a Teacher and a Youtuber. She feels that one should never give up on their passion and always try new things in life.

Sonika Choudhary is from Udaipur and is currently working as a Teacher in Jaipur where she has been for the past five years.

Sonika says that she did not have any interest in the teaching line initially. She is from a Commerce background and wanted to do something in the Banking field but it could not materialize. She also had a dream to work in the Media and joined a local news channel in Udaipur. However, she backed out at the last minute due to her personal apprehensions about the field.

Sonika shares that after marriage she changed her base to Jaipur. One day, while walking her daughter in a park, Sonika met a woman who after talking with Sonika for a bit, offered her a teaching job. Sonika decided to take the opportunity and her teaching career began.

Sonika shares that in school she used to participate in many debate competitions. In her college as well, with the support of her faculty Sneha Khokhawat, she fought the Students Union President election and won. She feels that all these activities increased her confidence level and she never looked back in life.

Sonika shares that her zeal to come in front of the camera motivated her to have her own YouTube channel and she started ‘Cooking with Sonika’.

Sonika feels that the support of her parents always encouraged her to move forward. Even when she used to get fewer marks in school, her parents would not scold her but would motivate her to work harder. She regrets that if she would have shown confidence in her early days, she would have been working in a good news channel by now.

Sonika says that parents do not trust the online mode of teaching much and feel that this new way is not imparting quality education to their kids. She advises the parents to be friendly with their children and help them in achieving their dreams.

In her free time, she likes to work on her YouTube channel and learn new ways to make it more popular. She also watches videos regarding teaching and learns new ways to improve her teaching skills.
