A passionate businesswoman, Sonika Audchiya shares her life journey and experiences. With her husband's support, she started her business after working at DCA and The Yellow Pages, where she resigned due to challenges. Sonika then established her own firm and has since expanded her team. She advises newcomers to be patient, build strong relationships, and proactively overcome challenges. She encourages confidence and believes in achieving success step by step.

Sonika Audichya is running her business, Sonika Sarees, in Udaipur. After COVID, she digitised her saree showroom for the convenience of the customers.

Regarding her work, Audichya says that her customers are like family, and she is always ready to help them. She stays updated with the latest trends and market changes. She also enjoys spending time with her customers, who, in turn, are very supportive.

Sonika Audichya lives in Udaipur with her joint family. Due to her father's transferable job, she spent her childhood in various places. She completed her 10th grade in Kanore before moving to Udaipur, where she did her 12th grade at a government school. She later graduated from Guru Nanak Girls' College.

Audichya shares that she got married during her first year of college. With the support and motivation of her husband, she completed the remaining two years of her graduation. She then pursued a one-year computer course in tally and accounting. Afterward, she worked at DCA and later at Get It Yellow Pages, where she earned an impressive incentive of Rs.70,000 in a month. The firm later became AskMe.com, where she managed sales for the Udaipur district. She then served as a sales head at Just Dial for two years before resigning due to some challenges. Following her resignation, she decided to start her own firm and ventured into the saree business.

Sonika Audichya says that she started her own firm with the support of her husband and started fulfilling the demands of her customers. Initially, she was not so confident speaking in front of people, but her experience made her a leader, and now she is leading a good team of workers.

Talking about her hardships, Audichya says that she faced many ups and downs in her life but never gave up. She believes that it is important to leave the hurdles and difficulties behind and move forward in life to achieve success. She feels grateful to have the support of her husband in every difficult phase.

Sharing her COVID experience, Sonika Audichya says that she had to close her showroom for a long time due to the pandemic. She began digital marketing her products, enabling customers to purchase any type of saree from anywhere at any time.

When asked about role models,  Audichya considers her husband, who has always supported her, as her role model.

Even if given a time machine, Audichya wouldn’t change anything in her past, as she is content with what she has achieved in life.

Comparing education and experience, Sonika Audichya says she would prioritise experience. She believes that no matter how many degrees you hold, without experience, you can't run a business. She emphasises that gaining experience requires a broad range of knowledge.

Advising newcomers to business, Sonika Audichya says that they should keep patience and maintain good relations with everyone. Also, they should be active and not feel bad about small issues.

Audichya advises everyone to face life's hurdles with confidence and take steps toward success one at a time. She encourages listening to others but ultimately following your heart.
