Managing a home stay, Sohan provides guests with an oasis of peace away from their busy places to enjoy a tranquil environment. Given the scarcity of work prospects, he suggests that the younger generation should think about pursuing entrepreneurship.

Sohan Singh is the owner of a homestay called Galaxy Homestay in Jhandian, Himachal Pradesh.

Sohan resides in the Kufri Panchayat's Jhandian village. He manages his modest guesthouse close to Kufri, a location that is completely covered in forests and agricultural land and is far from populated places. According to him, visitors may reside in Kufri and enjoy their stay in peace and quiet away from busy cities and towns if they so desire.

He states that he worked for a central security agency following the completion of his education. When he came back in 1993, he started his own taxi company and started driving cabs. After that, he started working in the hospitality sector and opened his own guesthouse. Afterwards, he began working with horses in Kufri. He currently oversees his homestay and helps with things pertaining to horses.

Sohan says that his homestay has twelve clean, well-furnished rooms that are tailored to each visitor's demands. They provide Himachali food. He also draws attention to the wooden interiors, which are useful given the region's wintery and snowy climate since wood retains heat in the winters and remains cool in the summers.

When Sohan thinks back to his early years, he remembers living in a difficult and challenging village. The roads were in poor shape, forcing people to travel great distances even to neighbouring locations.

According to Sohan, the availability of vehicles that take us straight from our door to our destination has made life easier but also made us a little lazy. Our bodies have changed as a result of this convenience. Our bodies were stronger and every action demanded complete physical effort when walking was more popular.

Sharing his COVID experience, Sohan states that thankfully, no one in his neighbourhood had the disease during the outbreak. But they also faced additional difficulties that had an impact on their business, such a drop in tourists and visits.

Sohan advises youngsters that it might be difficult to get employment in the modern world. He advises young people to think about launching their own ventures in the same way that he has.

Sohan thinks that experience and education are equally important. While education offers a solid basis, advancement also depends on experience and practice. Experience is extremely valuable in the contemporary internet environment, and success frequently hinges on accumulating real-world experience.
