Sikander made a career out of his passion for mimicry. He feels honored when people call him ‘The Voice of Amitabh Bachchan.’

Sikander Khan is an on-stage performing artist and a dubbing artist.

Sikander feels lucky to have done dubbing for Amitabh Bachchan several times. He has performed at several locations across the world. He heartily thanks all his fans who have continuously loved him, supported him, and showered him with blessings.

Talking about his childhood memories, Sikander shares how he enjoyed recording the dialogues of Amitabh Bachchan all the time in his voice and making his siblings and neighbors listen to them. But he never knew that his childhood play would become a profession, and he would travel the whole world because of this.

Sikander first performed at his college’s annual function and received a positive response. He did his first show for 100 rupees only. He did not know how to do shows at that time or which attire to wear. Eventually, he learned something with every show he did. From his shows, he learned to groom himself, to talk correctly, and to perform on stage.

While doing the shows, Sikander got his first offer of dubbing. He had never been to a studio or done dubbing. He did his first dubbing for a cigarette advertisement. He was extremely nervous, and for a 30-second clip, it took him around five hours to dub. He was new and didn’t know how to speak in a studio. He says there is a huge difference between a live performance and studio dubbing, as the voice is checked for a lot of details in the studio. He received 500 rupees for that dubbing, and he felt extremely rich that day.

Apart from the performances, Sikander owns a celebrity management company called Star Beats Entertainment. He did his first show through this event organizing company in Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji in 2005. Many famous Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Rampal, Mahima Chaudhary, Aryan Vaid, Preity Jangiani, Sonu Kakkar, and many others were there with him. With the efforts of all the artists, the show turned out amazing. After that, there was no turning back.

Talking about challenges, Sikander says he was affected by polio when he was two years old. But he still completed his education and earned a B.A. in Economics. He has struggled a lot in his Bollywood journey. Though he is polio-affected, he loves to drive.

Sikander is greatly inspired by Amitabh Bachchan. Sikander feels he hasn’t only copied his voice but learned many other things from him as well. He keeps on reading and knows many things about his favorite actor.

In advising the younger generation, Sikander says you should dedicate yourself to whatever you do. He suggests giving 100% to every job you do. He tries to give his best, irrespective of the time it takes.
