Sidharth Jain is the Founder of ‘Graffersid.com.’ It is an Indore-based website and mobile app development company, that relieves startups of the weight of technology and turns their product ideas into widely-accepted, market-fit solutions.
Sidharth was born and raised in Indore but has his roots in Barwaha, Madhya Pradesh. He did his schooling from The Emerald Heights International School. Then he moved to Mumbai to do B.Tech. Soon, he got a job in Accenture, where he made his mark globally and was set to go to the US on a project. But his father’s health deteriorated as a result of which he quit his job and returned to Indore. At that time, he had no plans with regard to his career.
When Sidharth could not think of anything, he felt depressed and started penning down about how an ideal company should be. He started posting his writing on LinkedIn, Quora, etc. in a co-working space. Being impressed with his work, many businesses hired him as a consultant. But he left soon because he didn’t like the way those companies conducted business. Meanwhile, he gained more social media followers and more people started contacting him. At that point, he founded his own business focusing majorly on customer satisfaction. Since then, he has made tremendous progress over the past four years and currently has three offices.
When asked about his role models, Sidharth claims that time and failures have been his biggest inspirations. Besides, he considers his employees as his mentors for learning a lot from them and being able to advance in life. Besides, his father, Nimesh Singh, and Prabhkiran Singh serve as another source of inspiration for him.
Explaining his mistakes, Sidharth says that failing to choose the appropriate candidate for the appropriate position at the right time, together with employing highly experienced HRM proved to be a major mistake for him initially. He says that hiring experienced people, who he believed would manage their respective departments, was a terrible mistake as it didn’t happen and his dependence on them cost him dearly.
Regarding his accomplishments, Sidharth says he always regarded the success of his clients as his biggest achievement. His crowning accomplishment was receiving an award for representing India in Singapore on 15th August.
In his spare time, Sidharth enjoys spending time with his family. Being interested in sports, he likes to play basketball, baseball, squash, and swimming.
Sidharth advises all new entrepreneurs that you can not do all work by yourself so delegate work to your team and trust them. He further says that if you trust them and give them room to make mistakes, they will eventually grow with time and take over most of your hectic schedule.
