Believe in yourself to fight against any hurdle.
Believe in yourself to fight against any hurdle.
Siddharth Vaishnav is an MBBS intern at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences in Udaipur.
Recalling his childhood, Siddharth says that he was an average student, but then his parents helped him, and his mother started to teach him. That helped him improve, and gradually there came a time when he started topping his class every year.
Siddharth shares that, with his increased interest in studies, he has also cultivated a deep fascination for science. When he was in the 6th grade, he was able to perform science experiments in the 12th grade. Aware of his intellect and passion for science, his teachers also supported him and started teaching him concepts from higher classes. He decided to choose biology in the science stream after passing his 10th class.
Furthermore, after choosing the science stream, he went to Kota for higher studies. Initially, it was quite tough for him there, as he often felt homesick and the environment there was extremely competitive. He gave himself time, relaxed a bit, and finally prevailed and went on to score excellent marks.
After completing his twelfth, he prepared for several competitive exams, including the AIPMT, and qualified for each one of them. Unfortunately, he did not score well in the AIPMT, and consequently, he didn’t get into a government college. So he thought of dropping the year. But he had also prepared for the PCPMT (an exam for admission to private colleges in Rajasthan), in which he scored a remarkable score, so his parents motivated him to pursue his medical studies through a private college. Currently, he is an intern at the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences.
Siddharth’s message to everyone is that hard work combined with consistency is the sure-shot method of achieving success in life.
