A mathematics teacher, Shweta is committed to maintaining high standards of education with an emphasis on developing her students' proficiency.

Shweta Rathore is a mathematics teacher at CPS School, Udaipur. She hails from Kanore, a small village near Udaipur. She moved to Udaipur with her family.

Shweta did her entire schooling in Udaipur. She holds both a B.Ed. and a B.Sc. in mathematics.

Talking about her challenges in life, Shweta says that, after her marriage, she moved to Mumbai with her husband. She says her family began experiencing financial hardships after her father-in-law passed away. She made the decision to return to Udaipur to start working and become a financial helping hand for her family. She says it was really difficult to make a comeback in her career as she had taken a five-year break because of the birth of her child. She says during this difficult period of financial hardship, her father and sister-in-law were a great help.

Describing her COVID experience, Shweta says it was a particularly trying time for her because the lockdown occurred in the middle of a period of financial hardship for her and her family. She says she is grateful to have her father because he was always there to encourage her.

When asked about her role models in life, Shweta says she considers her parents, along with her grandmother and her husband, as her role models. She says all these people were always there to encourage and support her. She says she is inspired by them because of their open-mindedness and positive perspective in looking at the problems.

In her free time, Shweta enjoys experimenting in the kitchen. She also likes exploring new locations. She says she loves adventure sports and that she would definitely like to experience skydiving at least once in her life, given the opportunity.

If she could get a Time Machine to travel back in time, Shweta would go back in time and change the year of her marriage. She says she was only nineteen years old when she got married, so she would go back in time and study more, putting her career first.

Shweta advises the youth to avoid distractions and stay focused on their goals. She advises them to work hard with all their hearts and, with fair intentions, move ahead in their career to achieve success in their lives.
