Shubham aspired to do something unique rather than follow the conventional path, and so he chose to explore his passion for tattoo art. He believes that as an artist, it is his duty to create his own designs customized for his clients.

Shubham Verma is a tattoo artist and the founder of Soul Prints Tattoo Studio. He has been in this field since 2012.

Shubham hails from Pune, Maharashtra.

Sharing about his journey, Shubham says that after completing his 12th grade, his family wanted him to pursue C.A., but later he realized that he wanted to become an artist. And, in his quest to learn art he met a teacher and started learning about tattoo art. Then, in 2014, he started his own brand, "Soul Prints Tattoo Studio." He specializes in memorial tattoo art, as it helps preserve precious memories and is customized as per the needs of an individual.

Shubham shares that he was always inclined towards sketching and designing and wanted to do something different. He narrowed down a few art fields that he wanted to work in, which included wildlife photography and designing. Finally, he found his passion in tattoo art and pursued it as a professional career.

Talking about his mistakes, Shubham says that he wasted a lot of time trying to do different things and feels that if he had focused on art from the start, he could have done so much more. Although he has no regrets in his life, he keeps it as a memory of the past and moves on with his life.

Speaking about his achievements, Shubham says that through his profession, he got the chance to interact with lots of people and make friends, which he had always desired. He aspires to create art-based pieces rather than conventional tattoo designs.

When asked about his role models, Shubham says that he looks up to Sameer Patange, from whom he has learned the art of tattooing, and Victor Portugal, whose work inspires him a lot.

In his spare time, Shubham likes to ride bikes, read books, and spend time in nature. When he feels down, he likes to talk to his close ones or do sketches.

Shubham’s life mantra is that the way of life is the way we walk. He advises everyone to be happy and smile a lot.
