Shruti is a Financial Investment educator teaching people the way to invest their money in the right way. She feels that investing money at the right time is what we need the young generation to learn.

Shruti Shah is from Pune and runs a Financial Literacy firm ‘The Finance Yogi’. She has done B.com, M.com, LLB, CS, and CA. However, she is not pursuing her career in this field and chose a completely different one. She is also pursuing her Ph.D. in Business Administration.

Shruti says that in school and college we are taught the best of all subjects which helps us in getting good jobs and salaries. However, we are not taught to manage the money we earn and hence fail in investing that money in the right place.

Shruti says that this is where she comes in. She teaches people, from youngsters to established businessmen, to invest in the right places. She takes workshops and training sessions on Finance and Taxation and helps people understand more about concepts related to money, investments, sensex, etc.

Shruti says that she loves speaking, communicating and talking about Finance. So, she brought the things she loves together and started her firm. She says that she aims to learn something new every moment and impart the same knowledge to others as well.

Shruti says that her Success Mantra is to be honest, and true to her work. She feels that whatever we do, should be done with complete dedication.

Shruti shares that there are many mistakes she has made in life and learned from them. However, the one mistake she regrets the most is not understanding the importance of Marketing in the initial phases of her business. She always thought that only quality work can get her new customers, but she soon realized that marketing is also a very important aspect. If given a chance to go back in time, she would give more importance to marketing as well.

Talking about the pandemic, Shruti says that it was a really tough time and she had to shift all her classes online. She shares that it was a completely different experience teaching in front of a camera without having people around you or the physical presence of students. However, she got time with her child at home and hence considers it as a win-win situation.

Shruti feels that good education provides you with better opportunities in life and easy entry to high-end jobs. However, she also feels that experience is important in progressing in life and moving forward in your  career.

Shruti believes that leaders are born with an instinct to lead. However, she adds that she has come across many people who have learned the art of leading. She feels that a leader should have good communication skills, and convincing power to lead a team.

Shruti shares that her achieving small milestones in life is worth celebrating. She likes to celebrate small successes like beating her previous target or even learning a new yoga asana. Daily victories keep her motivated in life.

Shruti urges people to start investing as early in life as possible because then only they can get the benefit of compounding. The earlier you start, the better you save.

Shruti has also started a YouTube channel by the name of ‘The Finance Yogi’ and gives tips about financing and saving through small informative videos.

Whenever she gets free time from work, Shruti likes to indulge in physical activities like Cycling and Yoga.
