As a software engineer, Shreyansh is passionate about his profession. He believes that it is important to put your heart into the work you have chosen.

Shreyansh Kothari is a software development engineer at Reliance Jio.

Recalling his childhood, Shreyansh says that he was born and brought up in a small village in Dhar district, MP. He used to play and enjoy his childhood days with his friends. He used to go to the shores of the Narmada river and swim there, which is close to his village. He also had a childhood fear of lizards.

Shreyansh shares that his parents admitted him to a boarding school in Maharashtra. There, he realised that he was interested in Mathematics.  He went to Kota and studied at the Allen Institute for the preparation of IIT- JEE. He was selected in JEE at his first attempt, but he took the risk and gave it another attempt and scored a better rank.  He completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering but realised that it was not his area of interest.

After that, he started exploring different things and joined the Tech Fest. He used to work there in the Marketing vertical. Later, he started coding and got an on-campus placement at Reliance Jio. His primary responsibility is to develop and enhance the UI of the Jio Mart web application.

Shreyansh’s role models are Steve Jobs, Shahrukh Khan, and MS Dhoni, as their journeys inspire him a lot. He also admires his parents, as his father is a hard worker and his mother always supports him.

The quote "If you get tired, learn to rest, not quit" inspires and motivates him a lot.

Accepting his mistakes, Shreyansh says that he made many mistakes. But the major mistake he made was that when he was in college, he thought that he could do everything on his own. Later, he realised that if he did things on his own, he would be able to do very little. So, it is important to share knowledge and experience with your friends to achieve more

Sharing his achievements, Shreyansh says that he was the first student from the general category to clear the JEE in his first attempt. He was also selected for the district level in table tennis. He also participated in various sports, which is an accomplishment for him.

Shreyansh advises starting things. If you have an interest in something, start doing it and put your heart into it.

Comparing education and experience, Shreyansh says that both play an important role in life. Earlier, he thought that education was more important than experience, but afterwards he realised that experience also matters a lot.

Sharing his COVID experience, Shreyansh says that it was a very challenging period for him, as in the first wave, his family got COVID positive. He had to face many hardships at the time of the pandemic. That time he connected with different people and shared their experiences, and then he also started exploring different things and learning coding.

In his free time, Shreyansh likes to enjoy all genres of music. He also likes to play badminton and table tennis. He exercises daily and likes to watch web series.

If given a time machine to travel back in time, Shreyansh would go back to his college days and stay longer there. He wants to relive it with his friends in college.
