Born in Udaipur, Folk Singer Shreyaa Paliwal completed her schooling up to the tenth grade at Vardhman Public Senior Secondary School, where she began participating in various competitions. Shreyaa credits her maternal uncle, Rakesh, for first recognizing her singing talent, as he was the one who awarded her a 100-rupee note, which she considers a precious gift of blessings that ignited her confidence.

In her 11th and 12th grades, Shreyaa opted for Music as her subject, further honing her skills. She then pursued a BA from Meera Girls College, where she found invaluable support from Dr. Seema Rathore, who guided her in understanding music more deeply. However, during that time, Shreyaa's focus shifted slightly. She became involved in student politics and even won the position of Vice President (Upadhyaksh) of the student union of  the college.

That period left her uncertain about her future, as she felt torn between several possible career paths. She was unsure whether to pursue a career in acting, politics, or to continue her passion for singing. Her father, who comes from a family of teachers, engineers, and doctors, advised her to become a government teacher, as there were no artists in their family at that time. However, Shreyaa's journey of self-discovery eventually led her back to her true calling—music.

After completing her BA, Shreyaa Paliwal's life took a turn as she got married in 2014. This led her to put a temporary hold on both her education and music career. However, her passion for music never wavered. She completed her MA privately, during which she was honored with a gold medal.

Once she completed her studies, opportunities started flowing, and she began performing on various stages. She also began creating her own music, for which she received invaluable support from music arranger Natti Sharma, who is now her partner in music production. Together, they have created numerous songs, which became popular and even went viral. Over time, they also ventured into film music.
