Shreya is a commerce graduate with a creative side to her. She says that being a makeup artist felt like coming home to her and she is glad that she decided to come into this field and open her own makeup studio, Meraki Makeovers.

Shreya Nagpal is a makeup artist and owner of Meraki Makeovers, Udaipur.

Shreya was born and brought up in Udaipur. She did her schooling in the commerce field and then did B.Com. Along with that, she also did NTT, Nursery Teachers Training Course, and started teaching in Step-by-Step school. She also enrolled in LLB but dropped out of it as she was not getting the interest she thought she would.

Shreya says that she always had this inclination toward the creative arts. She also started learning dance but had to leave it due to some family issues. It was then that she singled down to makeup and decided to pursue this.

Shreya went to Delhi to pursue a course in makeup and enjoyed it thoroughly. She says that the support of her family, husband, and in-laws has made it possible for her to realize her dreams.

Talking about her achievements, Shreya says that the happy faces of her customers is her real achievement. She adds that doing the makeup of celebrities like Savi Sharma and Asees Kaur was a big thing for her.

Shreya says that her success mantra in life is to keep working hard and being happy in life.

Talking about her role models, Shreya says that her mother is a strong-headed woman and Shreya has learned a lot from her. She also reveres her Maami (aunt) and Aashmeen Munjaal, a celebrity makeup artist, from whom she learned in Delhi.

Shreya advises the aspirants of this field to learn the art formally by doing a course. One should learn about skin types, colors, shades, etc to get a proper sense of it. She also advises being original and patient.

In the near future, Shreya would like to do something for pets like opening a clinic or an animal shelter as she adores animals.

In her free time, she likes reading, listening to old songs, playing with her two pet dogs, and gossiping with her mother with cups of tea.
