Shreya quit the CA course to follow her passion for Dance. She believes that if one keeps following their passion then things like money, name, fame, etc. start to follow automatically.

Shreya Mukesh Kanodia is the Founder of Raising Dance Stars - a dance academy in Pune.

Shreya was born and raised in Pune. She received her school and college education in Pune itself. She did her bachelor's degree and MBA from MIT. She also completed the CA Intermediate course.

Shreya shares that earlier she was pursuing the CA course. She says that she completed the preliminary stage of the course in her first attempt itself and following it also completed the intermediate stage. However, it became quite challenging for her to pursue the final stage of the course doing the mandatory Articleship Training along with her Dance practice. Later, she decided to quit the CA course to pursue her passion for Dance full-time. She says her parents also supported her to pursue her passion.

Talking about Covid, Shreya says that during the pandemic, along with her partner, she started online dance classes. She says conducting online classes is a challenge in itself and it can’t wholly substitute for offline classes. Besides, she says that the pandemic was the time when she started pursuing Dance full throttle.

Talking about her challenges, Shreya says that deciding to quit the CA course to pursue her passion for Dance was quite a challenge for her.

Talking about her achievements, Shreya says that she represented India at the Dubai Dance Festival. Besides, she is also a member of various social clubs.

To the youth, Shreya says that no matter what, always follow your passion and everything else will just follow.

In her spare time, Shreya likes to assist her father in his business. Besides, she also likes to take part in activities of the social groups she is associated with.

To people, Shreya advises them to be courageous, honest, ambitious, and perseverant in life.
