She has completed 12th with commerce stream in Maths and after that completed BA & MA in English from Delhi University. After that, she completed M. Phil in English literature and completed UGC in 2015. She has done an integrated program in MA psychology. She has also completed several short courses on Autism, mid-brain activation, relationship counselling, and sleep anxiety. Now she is doing a PhD in English literature.
She's running Eye Level academy and a complete counselling centre.
Shraddha's school was far away from her home. Buses and auto-rickshaws also went there, but her family couldn't afford buses. Shraddha's mother woke up at 5 am even it was very cold in Delhi. Shraddha used to go to school by auto rickshaw. Sometimes when her rickshaw came late, she made paper boards and bat and played cricket with her mother. All these memories help her when she felt down. Her father and mother have worked hard. She got everything that she wanted.
Shraddha is good at dancing. She is a classical dancer. She is well-connected with music in 2022 and is planning to join music, guitar, and basic keyboard classes. She will start with a basic keyboard. She wants to learn for herself. She wants to do whatever she likes, and the feeling that relaxes her is music. Her favourite song is "ek pyar ka nagma hai."
Eye-Level Academy has 45-50 students who have considered that they can't do anything. She loves to work with such students and those doing well in sports and studies. She likes to transform people into a person with positive thoughts.
Don't give up and keep trying. Shraddha says if she gives up, students will also give up. In Covid-19, if doctors had given up, nothing would have happened.
Circumstances were gone very poor even though she tried. If one method did not work, she implemented another one. She has an incentive policy where she gives incentives to students, like in a job we are attracted to the incentives more than the salary. So she also started an incentive policy for students. She gives students stars to complete any task. If they complete the task and get stars, she gives the incentive. Stars are given as per the records maintained in every student's record book.
When she used to do something wrong, her mother used to tell her her mistake. When she does something right, her mother supports her. Mother's support is very vital to everybody.
She doesn't get motivated with any quote. She gets inspiration from her students. Whenever any student comes and tells her that he has done cheating in an exam and requests her not to give him marks, she feels motivated.
At starting of her career, she didn't have patience. If she is doing her best but not getting any results, she loses her patience. But her mother always motivated her when she did something new and guided her to be patient. Many people criticized her when she was vice-principal. People blamed her for forcing students to join her academy or fail them. She felt very bad and cried a lot, but her mother supported her. People criticize you because you are doing better than them.
She is inspired by one of her students, Viraj. She found Viraj in Kumon. Viraj was a special child, and many people were not friendly with him. Every special thing is beautiful, so she wanted to meet Viraj. When she met Viraj, he held her hand and took her to his desk. Viraj told Shraddha to see what he was doing. Viraj started solving long division sum, and he did it correctly, but then he erased all & wrote wrong answers. He submitted that answer sheet and went. He put Shraddha in suspense that why he erased the correct answer and wrote the wrong answer. Then Shraddha made bonding with Viraj and asked him. Viraj was a special child; he said no one loves me here. I know all answers, but I do wrong because no one loves me here.
Shraddha told Viraj that she would love him for sure. These type of students gives faith and love that parents give us. I gave him, and in turn, he gave me love. Viraj won gold medal in kuman. Viraj very inspired her. Shraddha already loved teaching because her mother ran a coaching centre, but Viraj got inspired more. She's inspired because Kumon worksheet techniques take special children beyond levels because they are special.
Please don't take it as a paper that you get whenever you do an internship. It will never help you. You have to take an internship as a hands-on experience then only come in this profession. Whenever people come to you, they have come with hope. They think you will solve their problems easily with the therapy. People have lots of hope for you, and you have to prove yourself and help them.
Do an internship with all your efforts and connect emotions with that.
