Shivkumar is an educationist working hard towards the holistic development of his students.

Shivkumar Nagar is the Director of Sunrise Education Academy.

Shivkumar was born and brought up in a village in the Baran district of Rajasthan. After completing his primary education in his village, he moved to Baran to pursue his B.A.

After completing his education, Shivkumar decided to make a career in the army but was not able to due to a lack of proper guidance and his family responsibilities. Thus he started his own school in 2007, to ensure proper guidance is provided to children at a younger age.

Sharing his experience of the COVID pandemic, Shivkumar says that the education sector, especially private education institutions, took the biggest jolt due to the lockdown. He says everyone including workers and students was affected.

Shivkumar is of the opinion that educational institutions must focus on both the mental and physical development of the students. He thinks that schools are supposed to make children ready for the world in every way.

Shivkumar also advises the guardians of students to choose a good school for their children on the basis of the quality of education it provides rather than considering its fees.
