From getting married at a young age to making her daughter a cricket coach, Shivkanya never let harsh situations discourage her. Today she enjoys her work and is indebted to her cordial school staff.

Shivkanya Rathore has been working as a sweeper in Vidya Bhawan Senior Secondary School, Ramgiri Branch since 2011.

Shivkanya comes  from Bhilwara. She says that education was not a priority in her family and she started working from a young age to support her family.

Shivkanya was married off at a very young age and came to Udaipur at an age of seventeen.

Shivkanya shares that her husband and daughter both are cricket players and that her daughter is working as a coach in Jaipur.

On being asked to advise the youth, Shivkanya says that they should never lie and study well to make their family proud.

In her free time, she tends to her three dogs and goes to the gym to practice powerlifting.
