Shaunak joined theatre and drama to change his identity. Despite undergoing a diploma course in acting, his acting journey has always been full of ups and downs. He is also working as a marketing executive at one of the renowned companies in Mumbai.

Shaunak Punde is an Actor and a Dubbing Artist. Currently, he is also working as a Marketing Executive at Chemcleanzio (I) Pvt Ltd, Mumbai.

Shaunak states that his business handles upholding agreements with businesses and industries involved in the chemical industry. He is currently employed by the corporation in the marketing division, and he manages projects independently.

Shaunak is from a Maharashtrian family and was born in Mumbai. He completed his education at Gokuldham High School.

Regarding his early years, Shaunak recalls being a very shy and insecure youngster. However, he also had a playful side due to his love of being well-liked. He did not excel in academics and did not even participate in extracurricular activities or sports. He soon realised his mistake and decided to reinvent his identity by joining theatre and drama. His interest in this field quickly grew, and he began to take it seriously. He was exposed to excellent television series and films by his extended family, which changed his mentality and taught him a lot. He completed a one-month acting diploma programme at Mumbai's Anupam Kher's Acting School.

Shaunak views his parents as his role models since his mother is a social person who has seldom alienated anyone in her lifetime. His father has taught him how to deal with a variety of circumstances and things. They both have always encouraged him in his job as well. His buddy Amatya Goradia serves as both an inspiration and a motivator for him, encouraging him to pursue his acting career and giving him sound advice in all trying circumstances.

In addition, he draws inspiration from his instructor Vinay Peshave, who supported his decision to pursue theatre as a vocation. He also expresses gratitude to Vidya Rane, his schoolteacher, for always being a beacon of guidance. He also learnt to confront his own body type and has a lot of respect for his drama school teacher. Anamika Haksar was another inspiration to him, and he would never forget her advice to live a decent life. He learnt the unselfish skill of loving and caring for others from his mentor Siddharth Kapoor, whom he admires in the business arena.

Speaking candidly about his difficulties, Shaunak admits that he tried his hand at acting at several venues but was turned down everywhere. He was going through a really unsettling time in his life. He eventually had an opportunity at dubbing, but he never received compensation on schedule.

In the face of all these challenges, he made the decision to start working at a regular job to support himself. Thus, he started working at Reliance Group as soon as he graduated. He was still passionate about performing, though. So, in an attempt to further his acting career, he applied to the Vancouver Film School. After his visa was turned down three times, he descended into melancholy. He enrolled at The Drama School Mumbai to study theatre for a year at his friend's request. He grew quite pessimistic and dropped out of his degree in the midst since he was unable to establish himself there. He thinks that was the worst thing he has ever done.

He counsels everyone on the significance of realising the value of breathing. Bringing your attention to your breathing would help you relax. No matter what is going on in your life, a solution is always available.

He enjoys seeing TV series and films in his free time. In addition, he enjoys unwinding, occasionally going on treks, taking walks in the outdoors, and taking in the breathtaking scenery.
