Shashi Mishra is a teacher at Rose Petals School in Chittorgarh. She has been teaching at this school for the past few years.
Hailing from Jaipur, Shashi received all her education from the city itself. To support her family, she joined the education sector. Initially, she didn’t want to join the field, but now she enjoys working with kids.
Shashi shares her hardships and says the loss of her father and brother was the hardest to deal with. It took years for her to overcome the loss.
When asked about her role models, Shashi says she considers her parents as her role models.
Speaking about her mistakes, Shashi says she looks at her decision to work in the private sector as a mistake. She remembers that her father used to advise her to attempt the government exams, but she didn’t do it, and now she regrets her decision.
When asked whether education or experience is more crucial, Shashi says she believes both are important. She says that if somebody is not educated, that doesn’t mean he or she can’t be successful.
Shashi inspires the young generation by saying that only those who act will fail; nothing can be expected of those who never attempt anything.
