Sharmila Ramuka is a Pranic Healer and the Founder-Director of Lotus Healing Centre in Udaipur. She has also been working in the IT field as a software engineer for the last 15 years. After work stints at Tech Mahindra in Hyderabad and the USA, she established her own IT firm, Aspire Edu-Soft Pvt. Ltd.
Originally hailing from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, Sharmila now resides in Udaipur following her marriage.
Talking about her struggles, Sharmila shares that being educated in a government Hindi-medium school, she faced challenges adapting to an English-medium environment during her 10th and 12th grades. She completed her engineering studies in Odisha and embarked on her career as a Software Engineer at Mahindra Satyam, Hyderabad, eventually founding her own IT firm.
Later, Sharmila delved into the world of Pranic Healing in 2018. She says she realised its true efficacy during the COVID-19 pandemic when she was successful in healing several patients. She has conducted meditation sessions at Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, Guru Nanak College, and BN College, helping students maintain emotional, physical and mental balance. Her ‘soul journey workshop’ helps in self-discovery and understanding the hindrances to achieving positive outcomes. Sharmila encourages everyone to reach out for Pranic Healing sessions and meditation workshops.
When asked about her role models, Sharmila says she is inspired by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, the father of Pranic Healing. Influenced by other healers making a difference, she got motivated to help people and contribute to society.
Sharmila lives by the mantra, "What we give is what we receive," as taught by her spiritual teacher, Master Choa Kok Sui.
Despite initial scepticism about pranic healing in the people of Udaipur, Sharmila's success in healing and delivering impressive results has gradually garnered recognition for her. She claims she was the first to work in the field of Pranic Healing in Udaipur. She credits her spiritual master for imparting knowledge to her and cherishes the love and respect she receives from people as her ultimate achievement.
Sharmila believes that Pranic Healing is accessible to everyone, emphasising the importance of receptivity and accepting circumstances.
She views education as the staircase to gaining experience, which, in turn, enables the materialisation of desired goals.
Given an opportunity to travel back in time in a time machine, Sharmila would include the stories of successful individuals in the school curriculum to inspire and guide career choices.
