Sharad Sharma is an Ed-Tech Innovator who thinks that failures teach us many things. We should take them as lessons and move on in life.

Sharad Sharma is from Hindaun, Rajasthan. He completed his schooling from there itself. Sharad is a Computer Science Engineer and is running his own Ed-Tech Start-up.

Sharad says that his school education was from government schools. Then he went to take coaching for IIT-JEE Entrance exams from Bansal Classes, Kota but couldn’t clear JEE. Then he did his Engineering from some other college and started working in an IT Company in Bangalore.

However, due to pressure from home, he returned back to Jaipur and realized that IT-related opportunities were not many there, so he joined the Education sector.

Working in both sectors made him realize that Information Technology can be effectively used in Education institutes to bridge the gap between the institutes, students and parents. It was then that he thought of starting his own Ed-Tech firm in 2016.

Initially, he faced many problems. Then he found his co-partner, Priyanka, and together they started working for the company. They hired a tech team and now have around twenty employees working for them. They focused on advertising and management aspects and started creating a brand for themselves. They also faced funding issues in the midst of their journey but somehow managed everything to reach where they are today.

Then the Covid pandemic hit. They took the opportunity to devise new solutions for schools and colleges related to Online Education. Today they have more than 50,000 institutes listed on their platform.

Sharad advises the youth to get proper education in life. However, he emphasizes the fact that they should apply this education and knowledge in real life as well to gain experience.

Sharad says that his Life Mantra is to never get demotivated by failure and to figure out the reasons behind it to succeed the next time.

In his free time, Sharad likes listening to Music and reconnecting with his friends.
