A Library Assistant, Shankar Lal is serving his organization and motivating others to work hard in their lives.

Shankar Lal Khatik has been working as a Library Assistant at Vidya Bhawan in Udaipur since 1994.

Shankar Lal lives in Udaipur. He was brought up in Vallabh Nagar. Due to his father's transferable service, he was shifted to Udaipur. In spite of his father's meager income, he gave him a good education. He studied at St. Teresa School up to fifth grade. Then again he had to go back to Vallabhnagar and he studied up to twelfth there. He is M.A. in Administration from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University.

When asked about role models in his life, Shankar Lal says that his chemistry teacher and Pushkar Ameta are his role models. Shankar says that he has always received guidance and inspiration from them in every stage in his life.

In his spare time, Shankar Lal likes gardening and listening to music. Sometimes he likes to sit with his son when he plays the tabla. Shankar Lal also reads books in his free time.

Shankar Lal is worried that today’s generation has become addicted to mobiles. So, to youngsters, Shankar Lal advises staying away from these gadgets and studying hard to build a good future for themselves.

शंकर लाल खटीक 1994 से उदयपुर के विद्या भवन में पुस्तकालय सहायक के पद पर कार्यरत हैं।

शंकर लाल उदयपुर में रहते हैं। उनका पालन-पोषण वल्लभ नगर में हुआ। उनके पिता की स्थानांतरणीय सेवा के कारण उनका स्थानान्तरण उदयपुर हो गया था। अपने पिता की अल्प आय के बावजूद, उन्होंने उन्हें अच्छी शिक्षा दी। उन्होंने पांचवीं कक्षा तक सेंट टेरेसा स्कूल में पढ़ाई की। फिर उन्हें वापस वल्लभनगर जाना पड़ा और उन्होंने वहां बारहवीं तक पढ़ाई की। वह मोहन लाल सुखाड़िया विश्वविद्यालय से प्रशासन में एम.ए. हैं।
