From a young age, Shane got into wrestling as his father was a professional wrestler. That, later on, led him to the field of martial arts, and eventually, he emerged as a freestyle martial artist and performer.

Shane Khan is a performer and dancer, and also a mixed and free-style martial art artist. He teaches dance, acrobatics, and martial arts at his academy. ‘

Shane is a native of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh but currently lives in Kolkata. He did his schooling from UP as well as from Kolkata. While living in a hostel, he came to know about different martial art forms like Karate, Taekwondo, etc. that aroused his interest. From the age of nine, he started learning martial arts from different artists. Gradually, he also got into gymnastics and dance.

Recalling his childhood, Shane says his father was a professional wrestler, so there was a wrestling environment in his family. He says he used to wake up early in the morning to practice wrestling and compete with his elder brothers.

When asked about his role models, Shane says he considers all his friends, his mentors, and especially his father as his role models for giving him a good education and for carving him in a way that he was able to achieve a good position in his life.

Describing his challenges, Shane says that while progressing in the field of martial arts, he suffered many injuries and faced many difficulties. But he never gave up and continued to move forward in his field and walk on the path of success with great commitment.

Talking about mistakes, Shane says he admires all his students for having the courage to make mistakes and takes pride in their courage to correct them and move ahead.

Talking about his hobbies and pastime activities, Shane says he is very fond of swimming, listening to songs, and humming and singing alone whenever he is free.

Shane advises all artists that you should never lose your way from your passion because once you lose your way, you will make your life difficult for yourself. He adds that you will not be able to compensate for the mistake of leaving your passion in your whole life and it will be very difficult for you to follow your passion again.

Advising the youth, Shane says that because of the availability of excessive information in today’s era, it has become difficult for them to make the right career decision. So he advises them to identify their passion and tells them to be firm and steady for it and move ahead in the same direction. He further says that to achieve success in your field, you will have to do hard work to be able to reach a destined point.
