Shambhu Singh has been practising in the Udaipur District Court since 1973 as an Advocate. He has been elected as a Director of the Advocates’ Association twice.
Shambhu Singh belongs to a small town and moved to Udaipur for higher studies. He worked during the day and studied B.A. at the Shramjivi Mahavidyalaya at night due to his family’s limited financial capability. After completing B.A., Shambhu immediately joined LLB and simultaneously worked under Advocate, Late Shri Maharana Sahab Bhagwat.
Shambhu Singh learned legal work and proceedings of various trusts, including Maharana Mewar Foundation Trust, among others. Thereafter, he started his independent practice in 1980. Shambu also worked as the Public Prosecutor during the political leadership of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat of the BJP, Vasundhara Raje, etc. His work has the seal of honesty and dedication.
During Covid, Shambhu Singh realised the insecurity of his profession. He witnessed many deaths and financial troubles faced by the lawyers. However, with hope, gradually, things started getting back to normal, and Shambhu Singh started with his practice. Moreover, the pandemic made him aware of the unpredictability of life and the power of gratitude.
Shambhu Singh advises young lawyers to deal with their clients with kindness. Being honest and dedicated towards one’s work gives satisfaction and success. Inspiring the upcoming generations by doing good and honest work should be the motto.
Shambhu Singh’s parents are his role models. He shares that they were spiritual beings who believed in honesty towards one’s work ethics. Therefore, Shambhu Singh has imbibed those principles and thus, motivates everyone to work with unity and serve and protect their nation.
