Through her unwavering hard work, determination, and dedication, Shalu successfully accomplished her goal of becoming a CA. Despite experiencing delays in her journey, she remained steadfast and resolute in her endeavors.

Shalu Dad is a Chartered Accountant based in Chittorgarh. She is currently working with Accenture Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru.

Recalling her childhood, Shalu fondly recounts her upbringing alongside her grandparents, cherishing the invaluable values she learned from them during her childhood. Shalu began preparing for CA in 2012 and cleared the exam on her fourth attempt in 2019.

Talking about her struggles, Shalu says that her CA preparation years were the most challenging moments for her, which demanded dedication and patience.

When asked about her role models, Shalu says her biggest inspiration is her grandfather. She also draws inspiration from her father and her husband, who helped her build a progressive mindset. Shalu also takes inspiration from a few students for their unique ideas.

Describing her achievements, Shalu says that her learnings in life have been her greatest achievements.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Shalu says she feels that experience is more important as it has more practical lessons to offer when compared to education.

Talking about her mistakes, Shalu says that overthinking has been her biggest mistake because it often blocks her ideas and diminishes her ability to overcome problems in life.

If Shalu could travel back in time via a time machine, she would revisit her childhood and see herself as a kid and how she used to behave back then.

Shalu advises everyone to prioritize their tasks and reduce their time on social media while preparing for exams.

When free, Shalu likes to read books, watch web series, and play badminton.
