A lecturer, Shahista found her career path with the encouragement of her father. Despite not initially desiring to pursue interior design, she now considers her two years of practical experience and her role as a lecturer her greatest achievements.

Shahista Khan works as a lecturer in the Interior Designing Department at the Venkteshwar Institute of Fashion Technology and Mass Communication in Udaipur.

Born and bred in the heart of Udaipur, Shahista's educational journey began at Central Academy School. However, her story took a fascinating turn as she delved into the world of Interior Design, earning both her B.Sc and M.Sc degrees from Pacific University, Udaipur.

Shahista's role model is her father, who continually motivates and inspires her. She attributes her success to his guidance.

Initially, she did not aspire to pursue Interior Designing, but her father's encouragement led her down this path. She has now accumulated two years of practical experience in the field and also holds the role of a lecturer, which she considers her most significant accomplishment.

She advises students interested in interior designing that the field offers various opportunities, including teaching and non-teaching positions. Additionally, one can establish their own design firm and take on freelance projects.

Shahista’s message to the youth is to prioritize their careers and recognize the importance of a good education for achieving success.
