Sweeten your words and cool your thoughts—that's the recipe for a fine life.
Sejal Jain, a former anchor of Today News Rajasthan, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) course.
She wants everyone to know that anchoring isn't something you can study for; it's a skill that comes from within, much like the way you communicate.
Sejal believes her voice is her unique identity, a trait nurtured and supported by her mother. Starting as a voice-over artist, she gained confidence and transitioned into anchoring.
She completed her class 10 studies at St. Teresa School, Udaipur, and did classes 11 and 12 at St. Gregorios School, Udaipur.
Reminiscing about her childhood, Sejal recalls being the most talkative at home and decided to make her voice her identity and pursue anchoring. She has anchored many events and plans to continue doing so.
Sejal's role model is her supportive mother, who encouraged her journey into anchoring. Her motivation comes from the quote, "If you open a sugar factory on your tongue and an ice factory on your brain, everything in life will be fine."
Discussing the hurdles she faced, Sejal acknowledges encountering challenges in her anchoring career. As a newcomer, she dealt with skepticism from those questioning her credibility and the fee she charged. She is keen on debunking the misconception that anchoring is a simple task, emphasizing the hard work it demands.
When it comes to achievements, Sejal values feedback from clients, utilizing both positive and negative reviews as stepping stones for personal improvement.
For aspiring anchors, Sejal imparts wisdom on enhancing communication and confidence by engaging in self-talk, practicing in front of a mirror, and actively participating in conversations with others.
Sejal's message to everyone is simple: keep working hard and moving forward in life. Don't let what others say or think about you bother you.
For those curious about her journey, Sejal extends an invitation to follow her on Instagram, where connections and conversations are welcomed.
