Seema Naruka was born and brought up in Ajmer. She has done her schooling from Mayoor School, Ajmer. Then Seema did her graduation from Sophia College in Ajmer itself. She has also done a Masters and then a Doctorate in Geography. She is presently working as the Principal at Bhupal Nobles Public School in Udaipur.
Seema says that she has been teaching for the past twenty-five years. She has taught in many different schools and cities like Delhi and Gurgaon. When she was seven years old, her father passed away. Her mother raised her and Seema says that she has not seen a stronger lady than her mother. Seema started giving tuitions when she was in class 11th to support the family.
Seema shares that she had no intention of going into the field of Teaching. However, when she joined her first school, the principal there, Yashoda Negi, completely turned her thoughts around this profession. She taught Seema many things about life and how being a teacher is not just doing a job but is like doing a service to society. Seema considers her a Role Model in her life.
Seema feels that this profession is very noble and a teacher never stops learning as well. Every day is a new learning for them.
Seema shares that her Success Mantra in life is to work hard each day. We should be sincere towards our work and career. We should be satisfied with our work and also with our efforts.
Seema says that Education is very important in life. It opens new opportunities for a person and makes him stable in life. However, without Experience, we cannot progress in life and cannot achieve new milestones.
Seema believes that along with the academic curriculum, we should also focus on imparting knowledge about our Traditions and Culture to our students. The children are getting detached from our roots is what she feels.
Seema feels that she was not a born leader but experience has made her a leader. She always likes to work as a team member and not as a boss. She also believes in giving chances to every team member to lead in order to inculcate the same qualities in them as well.
Seema is a follower of Sri Sri Ravishankar and says that we should not think about the Past or the Future and live in the Present as it is the biggest gift we have in life.
To the Young, Seema advises them to be grounded and not be egoistic in life. She feels that they are very aggressive nowadays and only react but do not respond. Before doing anything, we should think twice. She says that they should be career-oriented in life and think about whether they are investing or wasting their parent’s money.
In her free time, Seema likes to indulge in creative endeavors. She likes Drawing, Painting, Calligraphy, and listening to music to release her stress.
