Seema did her BA and MA from Meera Girls College, followed by her B.Ed., which she completed after a gap of ten years.
Sharing her pandemic experience, Seema says that she observed that a learning gap has developed in the students due to online teaching that was undertaken during the pandemic, which she and the school authorities overcame with the help of extra classes later.
When asked about her role models, Seema says that she draws inspiration from her parents and her husband. She is thankful to her husband, who motivated her to pursue teacher’s training to get into the education field.
Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Seema says that while education is important in its own right, experience teaches one to express themselves and face the world with confidence. She adds that experience is the implementation of your education.
Seema says that children should be allowed only a minimum use of the gadgets so that they don’t become habituated to them.
