Saurabh and his family have utilized their education in establishing different wings of their business and have been operating it in a multi-dimensional manner.

Saurabh Singhvi is the Director of the Singhvi Group of Industries which deals in automobiles, chemicals, lubricants, fabrication and construction. A Chemical Engineer by profession, he completed his engineering from Mumbai University and is currently managing his family business that his father started in 1976 by the name Singhvi Chemicals and Marbles in Udaipur.

Saurabh’s entire family has studied different streams of engineering to add on to their family business like his younger brother is an Automobile Engineer who contributed to the launching of their multi-brand car service venture. Likewise, his other brother did his Mechanical Engineering from Singhania University and added another wing to their business in the field of fabrication. His brother-in-law is a Civil engineer and has aided in their construction-related work.

Saurabh hails from Udaipur and completed his schooling from Vidhya Bhawan School. He has been brought up in a joint family seeing his father running their businesses and industries. He remembers a time when their industry had to shut down but his father still made it work while operating a small unit from home.

Discussing COVID, Saurabh says that the pandemic provided him with the opportunity to stay more with his family. At the professional front, he sold chemicals and disinfection tunnels thereby generating business.

Talking about his success mantra, Saurabh shares that one should focus on growth first and success comes much later. He believes that progress equates to growth, ethics and values and success is a combination of progress and peace. Having taken exposure in metro cities and coming back to his roots to utilize his experience in his hometown is an achievement for Saurabh.

In his message for the youth, Saurabh shares that the youth should focus on 3Ds-  Dream, Dedication and Determination, the combination of which makes one successful in life.

Saurabh feels that while education is necessary to live in a society, experience makes a person humble and kind.

According to him, a leader is someone who brings everyone together and takes responsibility to push everyone towards success along with his own.

In his leisure time, Saurabh likes to read and believes that reading is the best way to improve oneself.

On time travel, Saurabh feels that one should learn from their past and not repeat it and focus on building a better future.

Saurabh is also a member of several organisations like the Lions Club and Jain Social Group. He also runs his NGO called ‘Paryavaran-Ahinsa Manav Sewa Samiti which works for the environment and promotes non-violence.

He believes that people tend to cross our life paths for a reason and everyone has a lesson to teach and considers each one of them as his role model.
