Satyendra Kumar Verma works as a School Lecturer. He has been working in the field since 2015. Before 2015, he worked as a Senior Teacher for three years. He has been selected for the post of Vice Principal and is soon going to join the post.
Satyendra lives in Borkheda, Kota, and has been living in Kota for the last eight years.
Recalling his childhood memories, Satyendra says that his childhood was pretty normal. Her grandmother used to recite stories to him and his siblings, his father wanted him to learn music and got him trained under various artists. However, later he had to stop learning music due to his studies and he focused on his education after that.
When asked about his interest in the teaching field, Satyendra says that during his childhood his grandmother used to recite stories and that was the time he grew interested in literature. Thereafter, he connected with a few litterateurs and met a few teachers who guided him toward literature. Also, he used to read novels, literature books, and stories, and that developed his interest in the field. He says that he has also written a book containing poems with the name “Naa Jaane Kyun”.
Sharing about his journey, Satyendra says that his grandmother has been the first person who kindled his interest in writing poems by reciting a lot of stories to him. He says that his grandmother prepared him for the kind of imaginative mind that is required to write poems. His teachers Champa Lal and Gajendra Sharma took his interest in literature and poems forward. He adds that he wrote his first poem on 14th September 2001 on the day of Hindi Diwas and got the opportunity to recite his poem in Verma School on the same day. Further, he shares that with the help of many people and listening to various famous poets, he came into the field of poetry and writing and his journey continued since then.
Regarding his mistakes, Satyendra says that the biggest mistake of his life was that he used to trust people without even thinking for once and got cheated many times. As a result, he learned that he should never trust people blindly. Further, he says that he took science as a subject in 11th standard but due to some misguidance, he was not able to study it well and had to shift towards arts. He says that if he would have focused on studying, he would have become a doctor.
Talking about his role models, Satyendra says that his grandmother has been a role model throughout his life. Further, some of his teachers and writers became an inspiration for him. Also, he says that he got the biggest inspiration from the situations, struggles, and failures of his life.
Speaking about his achievements, Satyendra says that he did MA in Political Science and Hindi Literature, also did B. Ed., cleared NET exams twice, and cleared Lok Seva Aayog competitive exams four times. Many of his poems, articles, and songs have been published in various magazines and one of his books has also been published in 2022 which has 45 poems that are based on his life experiences and whatever happened in his life.
Satyendra says that apart from music, he is also interested in reading and teaching. He further adds that he was not that inclined towards playing games, and in his free time, he always used to spend time reading and writing.
Sharing his experience, Satyendra says that his experience with his students has been great. He says that there have been students in his career from whom he got to learn so many things. Also, there were a few weak students and some intelligent ones too, and the teaching and learning journey has been quite good. Further, he adds that even today, the children whom he has taught are still constantly connected with him and keep on taking guidance from him.
To deal with stress, Satyendra says that he does pooja in the morning and evening every day to keep himself away from stress.
To the youngsters, Satyendra says that he would advise them to keep themselves away from stress and not rely on drugs or take any wrong steps to get themselves relieved from stress. Further, he asks them to stay focused on the direction and goal they have chosen, but also dedicate some of their time to their hobbies and stay happy.
Satyendra says that the government should make strict rules to keep youngsters away from drugs and save society.
