Satya Narayan Yadav is a Yog Guru. He has been running an NGO under the name of ‘Archna Yogayatan’ in Delhi. There, he offers Yoga, Naturopathy, Ayurveda and other therapies for treatment. He also provides training for organizing seminars, camping, stress management, exhibitions, plantation, cleaning rivers and other work of public interest and environment protection. Apart from this, he gives Naturopathy and Ayurveda treatment in a hospital run under the Sushila Devi Charitable Trust in Almora. Besides, he is the National General Secretary of the International Federation of Yoga Professionals. He is also associated with many other organizations.
Satya Narayan belongs to Medinipur village, Uttar Pradesh. He says that he was only five years old when his mother died so he remained between the saints, sages and yogis due to the spiritual atmosphere of Varanasi. And that’s why he got to learn Naturopathy, Ayurveda and Acupressure from childhood along with spiritual and cultured rituals. He says he started his healing activities from the age of eight. Along with that, he was also brilliant in studies. With the help of the District Magistrate, he was sent to the training center of Dhirendra Brahmachari to get professional Yoga training. Soon he got a job as a Yoga Expert in Vishwayatan Yogashram, Delhi. Later, he got selected in ‘Asiad 1982’ for representing India in Yoga. And in no time, he appeared in TV, newspapers, All India Radio and Camps at a very young age. After the death of Swami Dhirendra, he started an NGO in Delhi at the national level which works for the Ministry of Ayush.
When asked about struggles, Satya Narayan says that right from his childhood, he started facing struggles because his father was a farmer and mother was a homemaker. Soon, his mother passed away and his childhood suffered. He used to teach the children of his village to earn some money in order to pay his school fees. His struggle continued till he came to Delhi. But he says, because of living with saints, he was always positive and got a disciplined and spiritual upbringing, which he is grateful of.
Talking about his achievements, Satya Narayan says that whatever he has achieved during the struggles of his life, that made him reach this point today, he considers them all as his achievements.
Satya Narayan advises the young generation, who want to make their career in Yoga that the one who will understand the principles of Yoga and the one who adopts it, will change lives firstly for himself then for everyone around him. In addition, from the point of view of earning money, you will earn name, fame and money, if you are true to your profession.
