A dedicated professional, Satish is working as a chief manager in the import-export department at IndusInd Bank. Despite facing initial career challenges, he persevered and found success with the support of his friends.

Satish Sharma is a chief manager in the import-export department at one of the leading private banks, IndusInd Bank. His father died three years ago, and since then he has been living with his wife and elder brother. Satish also has a little daughter who is three years old.

After excelling in school, Satish joined an engineering college. He completed his graduation in electronics and communication with very good grades. After his graduation, he joined an IT company in Noida. After working for 8–9 months, he joined ICICI Bank in 2013. He has been in the banking industry and the import-export department for 7 years now.

Satish was unfortunate not to get a campus placement after his graduation despite scoring very good cumulative grade points. The company that used to visit his campus didn’t offer jobs for his department the year he graduated, due to which he had to struggle at the start of his career.

His inspiration has been his friends, Mithilesh and Shadab. Satish says his friends were the ones who kept pushing him and even sent his resume to a company for the job he is now doing. Satish says he is well settled in life because of his friends.

For anyone who wants to join banking, Satish says there is no particular course you need to take in order to get into banking. He says today, mostly B.Tech. degree holders are the ones who work in the banking sector.

Satish says it is important in his field to have very good communication and understanding with customers. Satish says trust is very important for a banker. Women and older people should be given priority.

Satish says education and experience are both important in life. As far as banking is considered, he says it doesn’t matter from where you come, what you have studied, or how much you have scored; it is always a new experience for anyone who joins because everyone has to work on the same platform.

Talking about his childhood, Satish says he was very naughty as a child. He remembers spending time with his cousins and rejoicing at his grandparents' place.

If he can travel back in time, Satish wants to revisit his childhood. He says he used to have a lot of fun in his school life, as there was no pressure and he had several friends who are not even in touch now. With age come responsibilities, and he wants to run away from them, just for a while.

In his free time, Satish loves to spend time with his daughter. He tries to get home early so that he can spend quality time with his family. Satish also likes to watch comedy movies and web series.
