The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges to the hospitality industry, and Satish witnessed its impact firsthand. He notes that the sector suffered significant losses as hotels faced low occupancy rates and decreased revenues. However, he is optimistic about the recovery, as the industry is now regaining momentum, with hotels nearing pre-pandemic occupancy levels.
