Dr. Santosh had always been inclined towards the field of Education. And to make a career out of it, she worked hard and became an Assistant Professor at Vidya Bhawan GS Teachers College in Udaipur.

Dr. Santosh Upadhyay has been working as an Assistant Professor at Vidya Bhawan GS Teachers College, Udaipur for the last twelve years. Before that, she worked in another Education Institute for two years.

Dr. Santosh belongs to Bikaner and did her schooling from there itself. She says that she had always been inclined towards the field of Education and so she always tried to move ahead in this field. After her marriage, she moved to Udaipur and did M.A. in Hindi Literature followed by her B.Ed. Despite being selected for a job in a college, she could not join the college as it was far away from her house and she gave up that opportunity. After a couple of years, when several colleges opened in Udaipur, she reattempted and fortunately, got a job in a college in Udaipur itself and finally she joined it.

Alongside her job, Dr. Santosh also cleared her M.Ed and got the Tenth position in all over Rajasthan, having a number of colleges as options to join one. However, she started her journey with Vidya Bhawan GS Teachers College, Udaipur as a Guest Faculty where she is still working till date. She did her PhD alongside and got her degree two years back only.

Talking about her struggles, Dr. Santosh says that she has been able to reach here today after much struggle.

Dr. Santosh considers one of her friends as her role model because she encouraged her to retry for B.Ed for the second time and consoled her that this time she would definitely get selected.
