With 15 years of experience, Santosh Sharma has been committed to nurturing school students like her own children. She balances teaching and social service through the Saraswati Group and Sneh Foundation to build a brighter future for every child.

Santosh Sharma has been serving as a Teacher at Saraswati Vidhyapeeth Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, for the past 15 years. She teaches Hindi and Sanskrit and has been closely associated with the Saraswati Group and the Sneh Foundation throughout this journey. From Classes 1 to 12, she has dedicated herself to teaching Hindi, nurturing students with commitment, care, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Santosh Sharma states that she loves and guides every student the same way she would love and guide her own child. Her single-minded goal is to ensure that every child she teaches receives the same attention, care, and concern that she would give to her own family. Just as she dreams of a bright future for her child, she carries the same vision for every student of the Saraswati Group, believing that the progress of children leads to the growth of families and, ultimately, society.

Speaking about her inspiration to become a teacher, Santosh Sharma shares that she comes from a middle-class background and completed her education in a government school. Her mother was uneducated, and whenever Santosh faced academic difficulties, her mother could not help her academically. Instead, she would simply encourage her by saying, “I may not be educated, but you must study.” This left a deep impact on Santosh’s heart. At a young age, she decided that she would not only become a mother but also a teacher—so that she could guide her own children as well as many others and help solve their academic problems with confidence and knowledge.

Reflecting on her early life, Santosh Sharma shares that she was born in a rural area of Dausa. Her childhood, spent with her parents and siblings, was filled with warmth and simplicity. She completed her schooling at Anand Sharma Government School in Dausa. During the second year of her graduation, she got married and later shifted to Jaipur. Despite personal and social challenges, she continued her education with determination—completing her BA, MA, M.Ed., DLD, and later a double MA—proving that learning has no limits when driven by passion.

Hindi and Sanskrit Teacher Santosh Sharma considers her father as her role model, as he faced many struggles throughout his life. Whenever she felt discouraged—before or after marriage—her father would remind her that life itself is a form of struggle, and without perseverance, nothing meaningful can be achieved. His words continue to inspire her, reminding her that hard work and consistent effort are the true essence of life.

While her life before marriage was relatively smooth, Santosh faced several challenges after marriage. However, joining the Saraswati Group became a turning point in her life. When she first joined the institution, she came solely as a teacher, but the supportive and nurturing environment helped her grow beyond her own expectations.

She fondly recalls the encouragement she received from Sunita Ji, who managed the institution and supported her like an elder sister. Whenever Santosh hesitated to teach higher classes, Sunita Ji motivated her with confidence, telling her that she was capable and must move forward. Today, because of that faith and encouragement, Santosh proudly teaches students up to Class 12.

For parents, Santosh shares a heartfelt message: a teacher is like a second mother to a child. A teacher’s only aim is to shape a child’s future with care and sincerity. Parents and teachers are the two pillars who feel genuine happiness in a child’s progress. She believes that parents should try to see things from a teacher’s perspective and trust their intentions, as both work together for the child’s growth.

Alongside her teaching career, Santosh Sharma has been associated with the Sneh Foundation since the day she joined the school. The foundation works across communities, with a special focus on supporting women. Santosh credits Snehlata Ma’am for introducing her to the foundation and its mission. She shares that whenever there is a need, Snehlata Ma’am ensures support and guidance. From her, Santosh has learned that self-confidence is the greatest strength, and with it, one can achieve anything in life.
