Sanket Joshi is a Translator/Linguist and also a Musician who feels that instead of prioritizing material things we should focus on our goals and things that make us happy.

Sanket Joshi was born and brought up in Mumbai. He is working as a freelance Linguist and Translator. He is also a Music Composer and Programmer.

Sanket is a German to English Translator and works mainly for the Automobile sector with clients like BMW. He has also translated a German book into English, titled ‘Death at a Discount’.

Sanket says that in her childhood days he used to learn Tabla and from there he got a sense of Music. In his 10th standard, his parents bought him a Keyboard and he started playing it and also recording music. In college as well he used to take part in Music competitions and was also a part of a band.

Sanket says that after learning German from Goethe Institute, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, he joined a full-time job. However, he soon shifted to freelancing and started focusing on both his interests.

Sanket says that many people have inspired him in his journey. His parents have always supported him and encouraged him. In the field of music, he has many people to look up to like Kishore Kumar, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, etc.

Sanket shares that he was working from home even before the pandemic and hence did not get much affected by it. However, he got more time to focus on Music and started taking it seriously.

If given a Time Machine, he would like to go back to his college days and start taking Music seriously right from then. Also, he would like to relive his German learning days as he met many good people there.

Sanket loves reading and collecting books. He also likes to play Video Games in his free time.
