An educationist and social worker, Sanjay founded a coaching centre ‘My Mission’ with an aim of providing free education to the students who can not afford the fees of coaching centres. More than 6000 children have received coaching through My Mission and more than 2000 have been selected. My mission has also received appreciation from the district administration.

Sanjay Lunawat is a Government School Principal and Founder of My Mission in Udaipur.

Sanjay is originally from Banswara's Kushalgarh. He draws inspiration from his father, Suresh Chand Lunawat, who was an excellent social worker and never wavered in his moral convictions. Two Neemuch residents regained their eyesight due to corneal eye donation done following his father's death. Ever since he was a little boy, his mother had ingrained in him religious principles and encouraged him to strive for the benefit of others.

He states that he came to Udaipur for coaching and government exam preparation. However, he began teaching others because coaching centres charged exorbitant rates. He considered helping the younger generation after being chosen for the position of Headmaster in a secondary school.

Inspired by Anand Kumar of the Super 30 fame, he developed a coaching facility called My Mission in order to offer free tutoring to pupils and get them ready for government competitive examinations. His primary goal is to give the pupils a top-notch education. Through his coaching facility, over 6000 youngsters have received coaching, and over 2000 of them have passed entrance exams. Shubham Jain, his brother, also provides assistance at the tutoring facility. Additionally, they make a call to the students for blood and corneal donations. In addition to offering a variety of competitive exam coaching services such as RAS, School Lecturers, Senior Teachers, Teachers, Patwari, Gram Vikas Adhikari, LDC, etc., they continuously work to meet the aspirations of all youngsters.

Speaking about his difficulties, Sanjay claims that managing My Mission presents a number of difficulties, including financial ones, for which his elder brother Rajesh Lunawat provides financial support. However, some educators offer their skills to pupils at no cost, while others demand extremely minimal costs. Although they have formed the NGO under Shri Sureshchand Lunawat's name, they have not yet accepted any donations. During peak hours, sixteen teachers manage the classroom; on regular days, six teachers instruct the pupils. The coaching centre's marketing strategy relies heavily on word-of-mouth referrals, with significant assistance from print and social media.

He finds inspiration and motivation in the statement "Jiyo aur jine do." Their mission is to assist students who are unable to pay coaching centre fees by offering free coaching and guidance. He thinks that all kids are talented and capable of hard work, but it's crucial to provide them with the correct guidance at the proper moment.

Sanjay says that the most fulfilling thing for him is witnessing the joy on the faces of the children he has tutored—those who are unable to meet even their most basic needs—after they have studied under his guidance. He claims that a child who had been raised in extreme poverty and a girl who was a student under our instruction are now both Village Development Officers. For them, these pupils are the real sources of inspiration. The district administration is appreciative of Lunawat’s objective. When collector Anandi began offering free coaching to widows and women through My Mission, 18 out of 38 candidates were chosen during that period. He also started an Anti-suicide campaign ‘Life for nation’ through which he motivates students.

He always reminds the kids that their efforts and time are only worthwhile if they are chosen and pursue everything with unwavering desire. He suggests that if you also want to make a difference in the world, all you need to do is serve others with the mental and physical capabilities you already possess. Only when you are able to even somewhat lessen the suffering of others can you truly say that your life has served its purpose.

According to Sanjay, social work has evolved into a means of bringing genuine contentment and tranquillity in today's globalised world. He suggests to the children that they should engage with social service from an early age. Choose a field of interest and make a connection between social work and your own development in order to perform community service. It will fill you with wonderful energy and make a lot of your life's tragedies disappear. As early as possible in life, make it your mission to cheer others up and take away their sorrows.

In addition, he emphasises the importance of education in conjunction with culture and values. He uses the example of how someone may become a valuable citizen of the country if we educate him how to work hard and live a moral life. He thinks that education has the ability to alter the course of events in the globe. He counsels all children to dream large and not confine themselves to a narrow perspective. He advises getting rid of all distractions, thinking creatively, and concentrating on your main objective.

In his role as principal and teacher, his primary focus is on his work. Over the course of his 10 years of employment at government schools, he has consistently called out Jai Hind during the attendance period. He attempts to instil moral education in his students even when he is teaching by making connections between curriculum items and Indian culture. Additionally, as part of a campaign he launched, kids now chant Jai Hind when they arrive at school. He continues to strive for such advancements while staying within his legal rights.
