A former Ranji Cricket Player, Sanjay is presently coaching budding young cricketers and encouraging them to put all their efforts to reach excellence in their game and not to lose hope.

Sanjay Kumar Gill is a former Ranji cricket player from Delhi. He has played for the Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy and many more reputed tournaments for Delhi and Rajasthan professionally. Presently, he is working as a cricket coach and PTI at Surajkund International School, Faridabad.

He graduated from Jamia Millia University.

Speaking about his achievements, Sanjay says he once bowled out the entire opponent  team for zero runs. He also played with famous players of the Indian Cricket team. He has also played Volleyball and Kabaddi at zonal levels.

When asked about his role models, Sanjay says he considers his coaches Ramesh Chopra , Aadil Sir, Ajay Jadeja and his mother as his role models. His mother supported his dream and encouraged him to follow his passion. He also looks up to his faculty at Jamia Milia who supported him and made him play cricket. He also gives credits to his coach Bishan SIngh Bedii for his wonderful journey in cricket.

Regarding his mistakes, Sanjay says he couldn’t find a right coach and guidance to properly design his career in the field of cricket.

In his free time, Sanjay likes to listen to old melodies from Hindi cinema.

Sanjay suggests that youngsters share their thoughts with someone they trust most. He also encourages them to put all their heart and efforts to achieve excellence in their game and not to lose their hope despite challenges which come their way.
