Sanjay Chanda is a renowned Skating Coach and the owner of JP Skating Club in Jaipur. He also runs his own sports business under the brand name JP, which includes franchisees for JP Import-Export, JP Skating Club, and JP Sports.
Regarding his academy, Sanjay states that JP Skating Club boasts the first world level parabolic track in Rajasthan, which has been designed to international standards. The academy was started in 2012, and now has a database of 1000 students, 200 of whom practise at the academy on a regular basis. About 15- 20 of their students are national players, and three have won medals at the nationals, two of which are bronze and one silver.
In addition, he runs his own brand, JP, which stands for Jagdish Prasad, the name of his father. Under this brand, he sells professional cricket, skating, shooting, and swimming equipment. He exclusively sells professional equipment because it is pricey and difficult to get in the market.
Sanjay has won national-level skating competitions and is an All India Champion in Yoga, finishing third in a tournament. He considers the accomplishments of his students to be his greatest success, as they have won one silver and two bronze medals at the nationals. His students also did well in swimming at the district level.
When asked about his motivations, Sanjay recalls growing up in a dormitory at BITS, Pillani, where athletics was highly valued. He was quite proficient at all sports from the start, and he eventually chose two primary sports: skating and football. Following that, he advanced in skating, competing in the nationals and winning. Later, when he started living in Jaipur, he established his own sports academy.
Sanjay Chanda was born and raised in Jaipur, but went to live in a hostel when he was in second grade and began taking part in sports. He participated in a variety of sporting activities there before developing an interest in skating, which he pursued. He completed his schooling at Birla Public School, Pilani before returning to Jaipur to start his own sports business. He is pleased that he created Rajasthan's first International Parabolic Track.
Sanjay considers his father, who died from a paralytic attack, to be his role model. He appreciates his father's guidance and encouragement. He also praises his father's choice of admitting him to Birla School at Pilani.
"Never let fear decide your future" is the statement that most motivates him. He thinks that one should never be scared to do anything they desire, even if it means taking a risk.
He recommends to the new hopefuls to begin practising sports at a young age. He illustrates it using his own example: his dream was to play in the Olympics, but he is now training his students to accomplish that desire. He asserts that had he started at a younger age, he might be competing in the Olympics today.
Sanjay encourages everyone to work hard, take chances, and strive tirelessly to attain their goals. He feels that making sacrifices is vital to progress forward. He gets up at 4 a.m. every day and has done so for the past ten years because it is crucial to his job.
On behalf of the JP Skating Club, he advises his skaters to practise on their own, build self-enthusiasm, and self-discipline. Nobody can handhold you to your objectives; you must work hard for them, he argues. He encourages everyone to keep working hard and taking the correct route as much as possible. He regrets that many individuals work hard but follow the incorrect path, such as entering the wrong school, receiving the wrong training, or employing the wrong practices, which create roadblocks to success. Use the correct approaches, get training from the proper sources, compete in the right competitions, and invest your money in the right places to reach your goals quickly, he advises.
