After a long break of eight years, Sangeeta resumed her educational pursuits. Despite much discouragement, she eventually succeeded in passing the NET exam on her eighth attempt, which she regards as her best reply to her critics.

Sangeeta Jha is working as an Assistant Professor at the Pacific Institute of Business Studies, Udaipur. She holds a dual masters degree in commerce along with a PGDBA. She has also passed the NET exam, and is currently pursuing a PhD.

Remembering her childhood, Sangeeta says that her childhood was wonderful. She remembers that she used to be a studious and sincere student during her school days. She misses her childhood friends and those moments like having fun and shouting with her friends on the school bus journey from home to school.

Speaking about her professional journey, Sangeeta says that after her graduation in 2004, she preferred to work and left studies. She got married in 2008, and after about eight years, she resumed her studies.

Speaking about her struggles, she says that her seven attempts to pass the NET exam were the most challenging period of her life. She says that despite everyone's advice to give up on her efforts to pass the NET exam, she persisted, and in her eighth attempt, she finally succeeded.

Describing her COVID experience, Sangeeta says that everyone was afraid of the virus at the time, but if we look at its positive side, it supports the idea that nature favors the "survival of the fittest." Even during that time, those who had the courage made their way.

When asked about her role models, Sangeeta  says that she considers her father as her role model. She says that she learned to struggle in life and live a better life from her father. She also admires her husband, who gave her the motivation to pursue a career as a college professor.

When asked which is more important in life, education or experience, Sangeeta  says that education plays a significant role in anyone’s life. She thinks education comes before experience.

Sangeeta's greatest regret in life is that she did not pursue education at the appropriate time. She says even though she started again after eight years and completed her education, she still feels that leaving education after graduation was the biggest mistake.

If given the chance to use a time machine to travel back in time, Sangeeta would like to relive her childhood days and the time spent with her parents.

When free  , Sangeeta enjoys spending most of her time listening to and singing songs with her daughter. She also likes to watch movies.

Sangeeta says that her favorite quote is “When there is a will, there is a way.” She claims that she, too, believed in the same and used her will to get to her destination.

Sangeeta advises the youth that if they want to be successful, they should abandon their phones, as they are their greatest enemy. For your success, put in a lot of effort and diligence.
