Despite health problems, Sandhya continued her journey as a graphic designer. She operates under the name ‘Designography’ and finds immense satisfaction in the work she delivers to her clients.

Sandhya Pandey is a freelance graphic designer. She hails from Lucknow and is currently residing in Dehradun.

Recalling her childhood, Sandhya says that she spent her early days in Dehradun and had finished her basic education at different schools. Since Sandhya was good at drawing, she was often motivated by her teachers to pursue a career in the creative field. She has studied pedagogy at DAV College.

Describing her struggles, Sandhya says that when she finally decided to take up graphic designing, her family didn't trust her ability to succeed. However, she fought for her passion and pursued a course in Graphic Design. Despite being a kidney patient currently undergoing dialysis, Sandhya never allows her health issues to hinder her work or ambitions.

When asked about her role models, Sandhya says she draws inspiration from her mother, who is a simple, truthful, and good-natured lady.

Her hobbies have always revolved around drawing, painting, and sketching, which she also pursues when stressed.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Sandhya feels education is more valuable when compared to experience. She says that the more you learn, study, and gain knowledge, the better experience you will have.

Sandhya advises the youth to listen to their hearts and not pay heed to what other people have to say. She advises aspiring graphic designers to first gain experience and understand the work process before starting on their own.
