Keeping in mind the fond memories of his teachers, Sandeep also decided to become a teacher. He has been making careers of children in rural areas for the past seventeen years and has earned a good name for his work in the Jalore district.

Sandeep Joshi is working as a Teacher at a government school in a rural area in the Jalore district of Rajasthan.

Sandeep belongs to Jalore, Rajasthan. He studied B.Sc. But in 2003, with the thought of bringing some changes in the field of education, he did his B.Ed. In the first RPSC recruitment of 2005, he was selected as a government teacher at a primary level. In the last seventeen years, he has progressed from a second-grade teacher to a school lecturer.

Recalling fond memories of his childhood, Sandeep says that he was opportune to receive immense love from his primary school teachers and had food from their lunch boxes. Often, he too gives this treatment to some of his students to get them to experience the same fondness.

Sandeep shares that because of receiving so much love and affection from his teachers in his student life, he had also decided to become a teacher during his college days. He says that during his student life he was a leader of Student Unions.

Talking about his role models, Sandeep says he considers Swami Vivekanand as his role model because he has been the center of the inspiration for many revolutionary great men in the times of the freedom struggle.

Explaining his challenges in life, Sandeep says that while working in the field, he had to face many challenges and felt frustrated sometimes.

Referring to his achievements, Sandeep says that seeing his students moving towards South India for pursuing further studies, he inaugurated a laboratory in his school in the rural area which earned him a lot of respect and appreciation from his students, and it was his biggest achievement. Besides, two of his experiments in the field of education were implemented by two different governments of Rajasthan after being discussed in the assembly, and it was no less than an achievement for him. Also, his book ‘Pathet Pustakam’ came out during the pandemic

Sharing his COVID experience, Sandeep says that due to the pandemic, many changes have taken place in the world and things have returned to their roots. He says that people bonded more with their families during this time. He believes that there is an increase in Indianness in food and an inclination towards Ayurveda in medicine has also been seen.

According to Sandeep, education plays an important role in the life of any person. However, he says that there are many people who have achieved success on the basis of their experience only and without getting any formal education. So, he feels that both education and experience are equally important.

If Sandeep had a Time Machine, he would like to go back in time and try to become a journalist if he could not have become a teacher.

Sandeep loves to hang out with his friends in his spare time. He also likes singing songs, humming, and riding his bike.

Welcoming newcomers to the field of teaching, Sandeep says that the work of a teacher is equal to the work of serving the nation. He believes that the country needs good teachers for the salvation and welfare of the country. He feels that a good teacher is one who is passionate about his work and has an affinity with his work, his school, and his students.
