‘The Hungry Batman’ Sanchit made a bold choice to leave his career as a coder and engineering student to pursue food blogging full-time. Embracing his passion, he has immersed himself in the world of blogging, steadily mastering its nuances.

Sanchit Goyal is a food blogger who runs his blog, 'The Hungry Batman'. He has been into food blogging since 2018.

Originally from Jaipur, Rajasthan, Sanchit attended St. Xavier’s School. Thereafter, he pursued engineering at IIIT, Kota. Currently, he is pursuing an MBA at MDI, Gurgaon.

As a food blogger, Sanchit explores Jaipur's cafes and restaurants, sharing his food experiences through photos and videos on social media. He also writes reviews on Zomato and Swiggy.

During the challenging times of COVID-19, Sanchit faced a slowdown in his blogging activities due to the closure of restaurants, which he loves to explore. Stuck at home, he missed the joy of hopping around restaurants and tasting street food. However, he turned this period into an opportunity by learning to play the guitar and engaging in his passion for music. He also took the time to reconnect with friends and family, which brought him immense joy.

Talking about struggles, Sanchit shares how he faced a lot of confusion after engineering because he wasn't really into coding. He wanted to explore new things and follow his passion. Eventually, he decided on food blogging. At first, he had no clue about it—how to create good content or take great food photos. He learned by watching videos, reading, and practising until he got better. Now, he's successful at it.

His role model is M.S. Dhoni for his cool, calm, and confident attitude, especially how he supports his team. Sanchit sees life like a cricket match—you face different challenges, some you tackle head-on, and others you duck carefully.

Sharing about his achievements, Sanchit says he feels he's grown a lot in the past three years. He's now well-versed in the food industry and has built connections. Cafes and restaurants invite him to try their food and promote it through his blog. People trust his recommendations for outings and parties.

In his spare time, Sanchit enjoys playing his guitar, reading, watching TV shows and movies, and listening to podcasts to gain more knowledge.

Sanchit emphasises that he doesn't procrastinate and does things right away. His advice to everyone is to work hard on their skills and work smart too. Don't let failure discourage you; instead, learn from it. Pursue what you're passionate about, he suggests.
